CONTRIBUTIONS OF BICYCLE USE TO SUSTAINABLE LIVING

Bicycle use and production continue to increase every year both in our country and worldwide. Bicycles have a direct impact on traffic density, environmental pollution caused by motor vehicles, and the quality of life of all living beings. At the same time, their practical and fast accessibility, as well as their economic and health benefits, are undeniable. Bicycle tourism, which can be considered a sustainable tourism type, is recognized for supporting regional development by allowing easy access to surrounding cities and different regions during travel. Bicycles, which do not harm the environment or nature, consist of recyclable parts, contribute to the protection of natural life and its transfer to future generations, and play an effective role in reducing carbon footprints, are of great importance to be promoted and developed for a sustainable city and life.

As Bodrum Park Resort Hotel, we support environmental practices in order to create a livable world due to the depletion of global energy resources and the increase in emission-related air pollution. We support environmentally friendly practices to oppose the loss of values in our living environment. In this context, bicycle use, which is a healthy, fast, and enjoyable means of transportation, aligns perfectly with the concept of sustainable transportation. As a bicycle-friendly establishment, we support bicycle transportation and culture. We are here to leave a livable world for future generations, and together with you, we will be even stronger.
